Terms of Service
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Brieft, operated by Jay Joseph Entertainment LTD (company number 16590357). By using Brieft, you agree to them.
The service
Brieft is a workspace that helps content creators and their editors brief, track, edit and publish videos, including publishing finished videos to social platforms you connect. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service.
Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, so keep access to your inbox secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and for the people you invite to your workspace. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Brieft to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property rights.
- Upload or publish content you do not have the rights to use.
- Upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Post content that breaches the rules of a connected social platform.
Your content
You keep ownership of the footage, videos, captions and other content you upload. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process and display that content so we can provide the service, and to transmit it to the social platforms you choose to publish to. You are responsible for the content you upload and publish.
Connected platforms
When you connect a social account, you authorise Brieft, through our publishing provider, to publish content on your behalf to that account when you ask it to. Your use of each platform is also subject to that platform's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for a platform's availability, rules or decisions, including any decision to reject, remove or limit content you publish through it.
Availability
We work to keep Brieft available and reliable, but we provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may carry out maintenance that affects availability.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Jay Joseph Entertainment LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Brieft and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
